Tickets for spots on the Bike Fest Oz! 2023 Inaugural Rolling Thunder Parade are now available!

Those planning to join us for Australasia’s inaugural Bike Fest Oz! 2023 motorcycle party and festival will want to ensure they get in early to secure spots on our Rolling Thunder Parade, which will only be open to 1000 ticketed participants.

Details have now been released on the Parade, which will leave from a marshalling point near Tweed Heads and head south via the M1 Pacific Motorway to beautiful and relaxed Brunswick Heads, a very popular coastal town and tourist spot on the way to Byron Bay. The Rolling Thunder Parade is to be dedicated to identities who have left us in the past year, but who have contributed much to the lifestyle and culture we, as motorcyclists, enjoy today.
The Parade is actually the first official event for the Festival, and will take place on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. It will be run strictly according to a set timetable, with outriders, escorts and sweeps ensuring safety for participants and the general public.
Funds will be raised during the day to support charities that we will announce in the near future.
Those who have purchased Early Bird special packages are already locked in to the lead positions, but the remainder of the entrants will be numerically allocated their Parade positions on a first-come/first-in basis.
We invite all riders, no matter what their choice of bikes, from Vespas to Vincents, and Hondas to Harleys, to register for the Parade, which will also feature a special prize-giving at the end of the ride in Byron Bay, based on various considerations, including novelty costumes, decorations, and types of bikes and other categories.
We also hope to announce some entertainment and other activities that will be held once we have arrived at our destination. As with other selected official Bike Fest Oz! events, entry will be limited exclusively to ticketed riders and their passengers.
And don’t be surprised if you see a celebrity rider or two on the Parade, as we are already in discussion with some big-name riders who want to be a part of Bike Fest Oz! 2023.
Cost to secure your spot for one bike on the ride — includes passenger(s) — is $60, plus GST, and includes a chance to win prizes at the Parade’s conclusion at Brunswick Heads. And the fee is fully refundable up until December 31, 2022.
