Yes Please – Count me in for the inaugural Bike Fest Oz! 2023 Lucky Helping Hand Run! I understand that entries are $30 per hand (your choice of how many hands you want — $10 per extra hand — for the time being limited to 200 bikes), with no limit to the number of passengers per bike (including either sidecars and trikes).
Start: Iron & Resin Garage, Currumbin, Qld, which will incorporate the chance to have breakfast and some entertainment as riders congregate for the start of the Run. This is a very popular local hangout for bike riders and has a great store and café for Run participants to enjoy. First poker card dealt here.
Second card: Dealt at the historic Chillingham General Store and Hotel, NSW (52km/50mins). Includes beautiful scenic ride through the Hinterland foothills and a chance to check out the historic location of Chillingham, plus a small collection of restored bikes in the hotel.
Third card: Dealt at the Advancetown Hotel, Qld, (43km/45mins). More spectacular scenery and a great ride on any bike. The extremely motorcycle-friendly hotel overlooks the Gold Coast and is a very popular haunt for local riders.
Fourth card: Dealt at Lawrence Drive, Nerang, Qld, (10km/15mins). This is the shortest segment of the Run and takes us across the M1 Highway to the motorcycle epicentre of south-east Qld. Most popular brands and motorcycle accessories are represented here and riders are encouraged to check out the local bike shops and other bike-related businesses.
Final card and Official Bike Fest Oz! 2023 Lucky Helping Hand Run Prizegiving: Dealt, decided and hosted at the Gold Coast Motor Museum, Upper Coomera, Qld (40km/45mins). Fast run along the M1 Princes Highway and then into the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland foothills to be met by our great and enthusiastic hosts at the spectacular and engaging Gold Coast Motor Museum. Visitors will be entertained by a band and other activities and the prizegiving will be co-hosted by Gasoline Alley Harley-Davidson.
